Some people have asked about the collector so here he is !

He’s a real fun one because he’s the most glaring case of Gabriel’s misuse of his miraculous.

Akumatizeds are by nature emotional, irrational and scatterbrained- this isn’t much of an issue because they always have someone to tell them what to do.

The collector doesn’t…

Another aspect I find really fun is how piss-yourself scary the situation is for adrien :3. He gets to go from “my dad is so mad at me he’s destroying his office” to “my dad might be hawkmoth” to “my enraged dad has been akumatized” to “watch members of my akumatized dad kill everyone in the building” and he doesn’t even have anyone he can tell about it besides, like, Plagg.

#i was rewatching some of s4 today and psychomedian just slaps SO hard. every single part of it.#every single thing that happens in that episode im obsessed with.#adrien’s intense distaste for harry clown. but how he’s so nice about it to nino and marinette who like him #the harry clown/gabi backstory reveal #like. did adrien KNOW harry clown was his dad’s ex. did that factor into the distaste. or is adrien simply a humor snob.#the entire angrybug situation. so incredibly good.#the bit where chat noir is meticulously crafting the lucky charm in the corner with nail polish while angrybug fights off the akuma. “homura doesn’t care abt madoka’s feelings/thoughts, she only cares abt protecting her.”

oh, right, so that’s why she was literally so distraught in ep. 12/towards the end of the 2nd movie at the realization that madoka would be a god forever, aka that she would no longer get to live, and she would be trapped in a beautiful heaven forever, forgotten and unknown by everybody while constantly having to save magical girls while preventing herself from becoming the most powerful witch ever.

that’s why homura felt so, so guilty when she realized that she was right all along, that madoka WOULD and DOES miss her family and friends, that she misses being alive, and that she isn’t as self assured or as confident as the image she puts on. she’s lonely, she’s unhappy, and more than that, she’s in pain and suffering.

and that’s why homura literally rewrote the universe (or rather, consumed everything inside of her labyrinth by expanding it everywhere) so madoka could be human again, so she could experience life again w her family and friends, w/o the burden of eternal, endless godhood.

homura literally proclaimed herself the devil, the opposite of god, taking all of that burden from madoka and putting it on HERSELF, bc she believes it’s all her fault in the first place.

…. bc she doesn’t care abt madoka’s feelings… right. 😐
